Author/Illustrator Bio

Born and raised in the rural mountains of Maine, I still call the Pine Tree State my home. Inspired by the beauty and splendor of nature, each day I soak in the influences around me. In 2019 I launched an indie publishing company, Binding Tales. I channel the joy and adventure of life into unique works of art, illustrated with wool locally sourced from Maine fiber farms. My other professional career rests in marketing. I currently lead a small in-house agency for an auto group representing 14 brands, with dealerships across Maine. I used to say that I would illustrate children’s books when I retire, someday. I’ve grown wiser over the years and now make time to bring my stories and illustrations to life. A full-time career, family, plus growing my own business keep me busy — and I LOVE it!
