Felting Lesson: Octopus

Description

This felting lesson: Octopus includes a 75-minute video of step-by-step instructions that walk you through the construction of an octopus tentacle and then attaching the tentacle to the body. There are also three large still image galleries of detailed process shots as I create and attach the octopus eyeballs, smooth a transition between a tentacle and the body, add shading to the octopus body, and complete the piece by felting initials for a signature. In this piece, I am working on a 2D wall hanging, with a 3D sculptural style. The octopus will pop off the wall! This lesson was originally created in August 2023.
